Fishers Retreat

We traveled from Tennessee with a group of high school kids for a national convention. Overall, we had a great stay. The home was clean and there was plenty of space for us. Very minor improvements could be adding TVs in all the bedrooms and making sure there are full rolls of toilet paper on the toilet paper roller in the bathroom and a full roll of paper towels upon the stay. Just small things and not enough to deduct stars. The owner was very responsive and helpful during the duration of our trip. All the neighbors were kind, with the exception of one across the street. Again, no fault to the owner or enough to deduct stars. You can't choose your neiighbors, unfortunately!

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a owner or through a service. They constantly harrass you trying to upcharge for every nickel / dime. The furnitures were broken / they try to charge you in excess. Constantly reaching out / overbooking along with the owner reaching out to pick up a bike. Very unprofessional and will be filing a suit.

This corner of Indy is close to a lot. The Geist waterpark access is literally across the street. Terrific playground, beach with lifeguards. We spent a full day at the Children's museum - an amazing place for all ages. The house had so many beds that we had options to decide where everyone would sleep (6 adults, 4 kids under age 6). We did find one bedroom on the 2nd floor to be absolutely unbearably hot. We couldn't find any vents in the room. The only portable fan provided was broken. The availability of cribs, and a highchair, was awesome. Yes, the master bedroom has a king, a queen and two twins. It's an interesting layout. Having multiple bathrooms for 3 families was awesome too.The kitchen has dated and mismatched dishware and cooking ware but we managed. We found the oven to not heat accurately for items we were baking or cooking, not sure if the temp is accurate? The grill in back was dirty but worked well. The best part of the house for our crew? The room FULL of toys. The kids had endless fun exploring what was in there and the pop a shot in the basement gave inspiration to the 6 year old to try out basketball when home. Thank you!

I had issues with this rental since the beginning of the booking. Though the price per night was negotiated and rate was reduced tremendously, my card was charge twice after booking. I had to contact host to resolve. Fast forward to stay, area and neighborhood was nice but the home was not. There were stains on the couch and carpet and some bedsheets were clearly not washed before the stay. The garage was full of toys, furniture, and totes with clothes so it was unavailable to use for parking. There was food in the pantry, items in some of the closets, and a kitchen cabinet was held on by tape.The host accused my party of damaging carpet and towels during this stay and charged us 1500 for these “damages.” The situation has been escalated to VRBO without resolve. I would not recommend a staying here or negotiating your rental rate appears that they will tack on damage charges to recover the entire amount. I would have preferred they not had accepted the negotiated price and there would not have been any surprise costs.

Five buddies got together for the weekend to go to the Indy 500. Beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. A little pricey, but that’s what we expected for the Indy 500 weekend.
