Retreat on the Fox River

This is our second year in a row for our annual Friendsgiving. We love the place and plan to make it our annual house for our group!

This was the second year in a row we brought our staff to a conference nearby and stayed in this home. It the perfect place for us to relax and debrief each evening and share a meal together.

Michelle and the rest of the Book A Memory team were excellent hosts and great to work with pre trip and during the trip when we needed anything. The villa itself is as the pictures set it out to be. It's a beautiful spacious property and the villa itself offers lots of space in the kitchen, living room and basement. You can really enjoy the great river views from everywhere in the backyard and deck. Lots of good golf options in the area too which was great for our group.

The home is beautiful, with expert attention to detail. The bed linens seemed chosen specifically for each room. The views were especially delightful, day and night. We were lucky to have a 3/4 moon over the Fox River, a fire in the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this home for any event. Spacious, comfortable, and near fun things to do, such as kayaking on the Fox River.

My kids, grandkids ages 8-17 stayed for 4 days in December. It was nice that the house was decorated. We enjoyed the hot tub and the ping pong table. We visited the Farnsworth House nearby which was really interesting!
